There’s something special about music at Found (if we don't say so ourselves). This comes from the way the room gathers around a voice, how the lights soften, how neighbours and strangers end up sharing a table and a moment. Our stage was built for nights exactly like this: intimate, close-up, and filled with that electric hush you only get when live music feels personal.
On February 19, we welcome Cara Luft to the Found Stage. You may know her as a Juno Award–winning musician, a founding member of The Wailin’ Jennys, or simply as one of the most joy-filled performers in Canadian folk music. But what we’re most excited for is how her storytelling, laughter, and gorgeous songwriting will land in this room - a space made for connection, warmth, and being fully present.
Expect a cozy winter night of music, wine, and community - the kind of evening that reminds you why live music matters and why this little stage in Cochrane, Alberta has become such a beloved spot.

Juno award winning singer-songwriter-musician Cara Luft is that rare artist steeped in folk and traditional roots music almost from birth, yet willing to alter the fabric, stretch the boundaries and fearlessly bend genres and styles.
A founding member of Canadian folk super-group The Wailin' Jennys and the brainchild behind Winnipeg's acclaimed powerhouse duo The Small Glories, Luft deserves her solid reputation as one of Canada’s finest live performers, armed with amazing tenacity, vision, energy and a contagious hilarity.
