These one-day summer events are offered to expand access and convenience for agricultural recycling. Residents can also drop off accepted agriculture materials year-round at the Bragg Creek, Irricana, Langdon, Springbank, Springhill, and Airdrie Transfer Sites.
 
Accepted materials include:
▪️Plastic twine
▪️Grain bags
▪️Wire
▪️Clean livestock lick tubs
▪️Tires
▪️Paint
▪️Oil, oil filters, and empty oil containers/pails
▪️Unused chemical and pesticide with label showing
▪️Unused herbicides
▪️Electronics
▪️Household and automotive batteries
▪️Household hazardous waste in original containers
 
Important notes:
▪️If you have a large amount of material, call 403-230-1401 in advance.
▪️Materials must be packaged properly or they may be refused.
▪️Materials left before or after event hours are considered illegal dumping and may be subject to bylaw enforcement.
