The Jerilderie Fun Fair is BACK!
If you're looking for the perfect excuse to pack the car, gather the kids, and enjoy an unforgettable regional escape, mark Saturday 7 March on your calendar — the Jerilderie Fun Fair is back! Set against the picturesque backdrop of Monash Park Oval, this beloved twilight event is quickly becoming one of the Riverina’s must-see annual celebrations.
Now in its fourth year, the Fair continues to grow, drawing families, day-trippers, and holiday-makers from across the region. Designed to be fun, affordable, and welcoming for all, entry is just $10 for adults — and kids enter FREE. But here’s the real showstopper: once you’re inside, all the rides are free. Yes, completely free!
This year’s line-up promises plenty of reasons to arrive early and stay late. Thanks to generous community sponsors, visitors can spin, laugh and scream on the Cha Cha, which joins an impressive suite of attractions for thrill-seekers big and small. Local favourite Shane McGrath Music will light up the stage from 5pm, creating the perfect soundtrack as the sun sets and the park comes alive with colour and energy.
One of last year’s most beloved highlights returns — the Twilight Cinema, transforming the oval into an open-air movie experience that brings families together under the stars.
But the newest addition is set to steal the show: Chicken Races! Making their Jerilderie debut, these quirky, crowd-pleasing races are guaranteed to have everyone laughing and cheering from the sidelines. The first race kicks off at 4.30pm, and trust us — you’ll want a front-row seat.
