🥚 An Easter Egg Hunt Like No Other – Echo State Park 🐰
This spring, Echo State Park invites families to take part in a self-guided Easter egg adventure designed to encourage exploration, fresh air, and time together outdoors.
We’ll be hiding roughly 2,000 eggs throughout the park this year, creating an experience that’s less about rushing a field and more about discovering Echo at your own pace.
✨ Wednesday, April 1 – The adventure begins! Eggs will start appearing around state park property near established trails and common-use areas. Our Golden Egg will also be hidden somewhere within park boundaries and will contain a claim ticket for a jumbo Squishmallow. The Golden Egg will remain in play until found!
🌼 Friday, April 3 | 3 PM – We’ll quietly place about 500 eggs around the park for individuals or families who prefer a little more breathing room. This portion is fully self-guided, giving you space to explore and enjoy a relaxed day outdoors.
🐣 Saturday – Weekend Egg Drop | Starts at 10 AM – Our team will place nearly 1,500 eggs across multiple park locations to kick off the weekend. Eggs will be out starting at 10 AM, with some easy to spot and others more challenging — the goal is to search, explore, and turn your visit into a fun outdoor adventure.
This is not a traditional egg hunt — there’s no single countdown or roped-off field. Instead, it’s an ongoing adventure meant to inspire families to explore Echo together.
🎟 Entry Fees: Park entry will be half price ($10) for the Friday, Saturday and Sunday event days, or covered with a valid Utah State Parks Pass.
Eggs will only be hidden on Echo property, away from the waterline, parking lots and buildings. Help us protect the landscape, make sure to pack in what you pack out.
