U18C Provincials - Opening Ceremonies

What to Expect

Parade of Champions: Watch as all 8 qualifying teams are introduced on the ice.

Dignitary Welcomes: Hear opening remarks from local leaders and Minor Hockey Association representatives welcoming the province to Southern Alberta.

Indigenous Drumming: A special presentation and welcome to the traditional lands this event is being played on.

Anthem & Honors: A formal presentation of the national anthem and tributes to the local hockey community.

Admission: Admission is free but space is limited. Fans are encouraged to arrive early to secure seating at the Coaldale Sportsplex and soak in the energized atmosphere.

As well as stick around after for the Ceremonial puck drop and to cheer on your local Coaldale Cobras as they continue their journey through the provincial championships.
