As autumn arrives, the natural world begins a profound process of turning inward.
Join us at Mana Flow Collective for an embodied exploration of senescence—the seasonal process through which deciduous plants prepare for winter.

Through gentle, mindful movement, we’ll explore the wisdom of trees as they withdraw nutrients from their leaves and return resources to their roots, creating the spectacular colors of autumn along the way.

We’ll experience the formation of the abscission layer—the intentional seam where a leaf prepares to separate cleanly from its branch—and explore what dormancy can teach us about rest, renewal, and the hidden vitality that exists beneath the surface.

Through guided and free-flowing organic movement, we’ll explore:
Rooting down and returning to our core
The movement of resources from the periphery inward
The wisdom of slowing down and gathering inward
The natural process of release and letting go
Individual, partnered, and group experiences inspired by the ways plants move through autumn

This experience offers both literal body awareness and metaphorical insight into the seasons of our own lives.

No movement experience is necessary. All bodies are welcome.

About Guest Facilitator 
Wesley Deaver is a somatic and nature embodiment practitioner living in Colorado. After years of studying the scientific symbiotic relationships within nature, he shifted his work toward the intersection of science and spirituality, with a focus on embodying symbiotic and mutualistic relationships—from the microscopic scale to the macro level.
