- **Event Description**: After some detailed discussions with the team, we have decided that we are going to put on our own event in place of the Etape Caledonia, for mostly logistical reasons!

In place of the Etape, we will be doing a route we like to call the three ferries!

Drumchapel Cycle Hub will arrange collection and transport all bikes to the start in Gourock. We will car share to transport all participants.

The route starts from Gourock cycling to Wemyss Bay (mostly cycle path alongside the main road).

Ferries are every hour. We will get the ferry Wemyss Bay to Rothesay taking 35 minutes.

On reaching Rothesay, we will cycle up to Rhubodach and get the short ferry to Colintraive.

From Colintraive, we will cycle up to meet the NCR75 and then follow this route back to the Holy Loch and Dunoon to get the ferry back to Gourock.

This is not a long route but it is challenging! Participants will need to purchase the multi-ferry day ticket however we will cover the cost of transporting the bikes and there will be no other cost for joining this ride for our members.
