Oro-Facial Pain & TMD - Interdisciplinary Talks

Challenge yourself: step beyond the borders of your own medical specialty in and have a glimpse into Oro-Facial Pain management, through an interdisciplinary lens. This event brings together experts from diverse medical fields to explore innovative approaches to diagnosis, treatment, and patient care. PAIN is the common nominator.

Pre-Conference (September 18, 11:30 - 16:30):
Designed primarily for dental professionals (but not limited to them), this session will dive into topics surrounding non-odontogenic pain presentations in the dental office. Dr. Davis Thomas will kick off the event, setting the tone for interdisciplinary interaction.

Main Event (September 19 & 20, 9:00 - 17:30):
Enjoy two full days of panel discussions focused on key topics, including Chronic Pain, ENT, Imaging, and Pain Management. The panels and presentations are designed to allow and encourage interaction between medical specialties. A highlight will be the keynote presentation by Dr. Davis Thomas on "Systemic Factors Influencing Oro-Facial Pain," focusing on the crossroads between medical specialties and the need for interdisciplinary communication.
