About the event

Games Theory Applied in Managers’ Decision-Making Processes - Transilvania Executive Education
Games Theory Applied in Managers’ Decision-Making Processes

In business, negotiations, and leadership, we make decisions every day. But how do we understand why people choose what they do — especially when those choices depend on others?

Join us for a 2-day executive masterclass designed to equip decision-makers with a rigorous, evidence-based framework for understanding and improving strategic decision-making in organisations. By combining game theory and behavioural economics, you’ll explore how human behaviour, strategy, and rationality intersect — and how these insights can be applied to real business challenges.

Through practical exercises, case studies, and classroom simulations, you’ll learn how to analyse, predict, and influence decisions in complex environments.

What you’ll learn:

• How to use game theory to analyse competitive and cooperative situations.
• Practical applications for pricing, market entry, negotiations, and strategy design.
• Real-world case studies and classroom simulations to bridge theory and practice.

Target audience:

This course is designed for managers, entrepreneurs, consultants, and finance or strategy professionals who want to strengthen their decision-making capabilities and lead with evidence-based insight.

Meet the experts:

• Prof. Giuseppe Attanasi – Full Professor of Economics, Sapienza University of Rome. Director of CIMEO (Sapienza Experimental Economics Lab), Prof. Attanasi is an expert in decision-making under risk, uncertainty, and strategic behaviour, publishing extensively on game theory and behavioural economics.
• Dr. Alin T. Băiescu, MBA – Founder, Behavioural Economics HUB. A leading voice in behavioural economics, Dr. Băiescu is an Associate Professor at Babeș-Bolyai University and Programme Director of the Behavioural Economics in Practice Executive Training at TEE.
