Join us for the Solway Township Emergency Medical Responder (EMR) Hybrid Certification Course — brought to you by North Star Training.

This flexible, fast-paced course blends online self-paced learning with just one hands-on weekend hosted at Solway Fire Department, just outside of Duluth. Whether you're just getting started or adding EMS credentials to your resume, this program will give you the knowledge and real-world skills to act confidently on-scene — and it’s 100% MBFTE reimbursable.

🩺 Course Highlights:

• Earn your Minnesota EMSRB Emergency Medical Responder (EMR) certification
• Earn your AHA BLS Provider CPR certification
• Learn pharmacology basics and commonly used interventions
• Train on state-of-the-art medical manikins and trainers
• Get real hands-on instruction from NREMT-certified instructors
• Practice airway management, bleeding control, CPR, splinting, and more

📚 Course Details:
Online Coursework Begins: Early December 2025 (self-paced using Jones & Bartlett modules)
In-Person Skills Weekend (Solway Fire Department – Solway Township, near Duluth):

➤ Friday: 6:00 PM – 9:00 PM
➤ Saturday: 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM
➤ Sunday: 8:00 AM – 2:00 PM
