Have you always wanted to know how to play this fun, challenging, tile-based game? Mah Jongg afficionado, Karla Haats, will teach the basics of play and give you strategy tips to help you enjoy the game. Karla will start with the basics in the first class and continue coaching and expand the lessons in the subsequent classes. You must be able to attend the first class to participate, and you will get the most out of the experience if you can come to all three sessions. 

Classes are free, but participants are asked to pay $15 for the current rules card from the National Mah Jongg League. The Library will order the cards. Please note, the fee for the purchase of the card is nonrefundable; however, the card is yours to keep. There might be a slight delay in receipt of the card for patrons who sign up after March 10.
