- **Event Description**: A picturesque walk from Dunsop Bridge in the Forest of Bowland. This classic (and popular) Lancashire walk passes through pretty valleys and mixed woodlands , crossing the River Hodder via stepping stones at Whitewell and making use of the Ribble Valley Jubilee Trail.

With an elevation of 1,600ft / 490m, this 11-mile / 18km route is of moderate difficulty, best suited to those of reasonable fitness. There will be a mix of terrain, including muddy / boggy sections, farm tracks, steep woodland paths and a little section on road.

We will have an earlier start than normal, to beat the crowds. We expect to take around 5.5 - 6 hours on this route, taking our time to enjoy a lunch stop in the pleasant scenery and good company!

Well behaved, friendly (with other dogs and people), agile dogs are welcome (max. 2 per person).

This small-group guided walk is professionally led by Clare, a qualified Mountain Leader and Outdoor First Aider / Mental Health First Aider, with full PL insurance. Booking is essential, places are limited and cost £18 per person.
