This year, the Waddington Village Fayre becomes Le Tour de Duck.

Just one week before the Tour de France riders tackle the roads of Lancashire, the world’s greatest rubber duck race comes to the legendary Côte de Waddington.

Thousands of yellow racers will line up for the Grand Départ before hurtling through Waddy Brook, cheered on by crowds lining the banks. There may be no lycra, no carbon fibre bikes and no mountain stages… but the competition is every bit as fierce.

Away from the water, the whole village comes alive with our Scarecrow Festival, celebrating the creativity of local homes, businesses and community groups, alongside fantastic food and drink, live music, artisan stalls and entertainment for all ages.
