Dickenson County Back to School Bash!

Join us for the 2025 DCPS Back to School Bash!

This free, family-friendly event is the perfect way to kick off the new school year! Hosted by Dickenson County Public Schools, Communities In Schools of Appalachian Highlands, and EO as part of the Virginia Department of Education’s Community Schools Initiative, the Bash will feature:
- Free food
- Kids Activities
- School Supply Giveaways
- Meet the Wolfpack — including Alpha, the main wolf!
- Free Haircuts
- Onsite School-Required Vaccinations (Provided by Cumberland Plateau Health District)
- School Physicals (Provided by the Health Wagon)
- Ballad Health’s Mobile Mammography Unit
- And tons of local and regional vendors offering giveaways!

This also marks the kickoff to onsite healthcare services for the school year (Provided by the Health Wagon)!

Open to all families in Dickenson County — everyone is welcome!
