Another fun way to use your granny squares! In this class you will bring your scraps and your hook and create your own flower motif that you will then attach to a ball cap/ trucker style hat with a no sew technique. You can use the flower motif or square it up! Add some fiber fuse, a little heat and a spoon and you will have a ready to wear hat!
You should be familiar with crochet and working in the round to create motifs like granny squares or hexagons. We will go over the magic ring and invisible join techniques in this class. For those that want the square look, we will throw some treble crochet in the mix! The goal is for everyone to leave with a completed hat and be comfortable with basic techniques.
The motif for the hat can be 3 or 4 inches in size- you can decide this at class.

Flower granny square motif pattern that you can customize however you choose.
*Spoon and heat source will be provided at the class.
Bring yarn scraps or any yarn of your choice to create your motif. Worsted weight or size 4 yarn will work best for this class. These squares work best with a 3.5, 4, or 4.5mm hook. Bring the one(s) you have/like best.
