This lively program blends real maritime history, theatrical performance, hands‑on learning, and thrilling demonstrations—ending with a dramatic outdoor cannon fire finale.

Whether you’re fascinated by pirate lore, eager to build your own swashbuckling persona, or curious about the weapons and tactics of the Golden Age of Piracy, this workshop invites teens to step straight into the world of high‑seas adventure.

Welcome Aboard
Meet the crew, learn a bit about who the Highland Rogues are, and warm up with a spirited pirate roll call to set the tone for the adventure ahead.

Life at Sea: Roles, Risks, and Riches
Discover how a pirate ship actually worked—from hierarchy and daily duties to medical realities and the truth behind treasure. Expect lively storytelling and interactive questions to keep everyone engaged.

Create Your Pirate Character
Choose your pirate's name, craft your backstory, and learn how character-building fuels performance, storytelling, and world‑building. A few brave participants may even share their creations with the group.
