Along the way, you'll meet important figures from Cleveland’s past, portrayed by actors and actresses, who will share with you their stories.The Warehouse District Tour meets at . Please arrive 15 minutes early as the tour starts promptly.About the Tour: The Warehouse District, often called Downtown’s First Neighborhood, is Cleveland’s 19th century commercial center; the Downtown of that era. Bank Street (now West 6th Street) was Main Street for banks, churches, theaters, newspapers, and hospitality. The mix of architecture and scale made this a perfect place for the adaptive reuse that emerged in the 1980s and continues today.RESERVATIONS are requested but not required, walk-ups the day of tour are welcomed.TAKE A HIKE® is a program of Historic Gateway Neighborhood Corporation with generous support from Ohio & Erie Canalway and Cuyahoga Arts & Culture.TAKE A HIKE® offers 32 unique in-person guided tours from May through December.
