- **Event Description**: CWRUcio Quidditch Team and CWRU for Autism Acceptance present Spartan Run for Autism! This 5K charity run / walk is open to all members of the Cleveland community and will begin on DiSanto football field at Case Western Reserve University on Sunday, September 5th at 9:00 AM. The route passes through the Case Western campus, returning to DiSanto field at the end. All proceeds of this event will be donated to The Orange Effect Foundation, a charity dedicated to funding speech therapy for autistic children and others with speech disorders. To learn more about Orange Effect, please refer to the links at the bottom of the description. The first 50 who register will receive a free Spartan Run for Autism t-shirt! Reserve your tickets online at Campus Groups for $7! Additional donations will be accepted!

Increasing COVID-19 cases within Northeast Ohio have prompted Case Western Reserve to resume its requirement that masks be worn indoors. In addition, only those who are fully vaccinated (two weeks past their final dose) should attend any campus event. Leaders continue to monitor pandemic developments and may need to adjust health protocols further as circumstances warrant. In-person is subject to change based on COVID-19 guidelines.
