Topics will vary depending on the trail, but hikes are always open to anyone with an admiration for the natural world and a goal to live life outdoors. Hikes are typically 1-2 hours in length and the ability to walk over uneven terrain in varying weather is required.For more information regarding an upcoming Hikes with a Naturalist program contact the Conservation Education section at ConservationEd@dnr.sc.gov or 839-250-9954.Reminders:What to bring: Dress is casual. Check the weather report and dress appropriately as you will be outside. Other items to consider bringing include a hat, sunglasses, comfortable hiking shoes, bug spray, binoculars, a snack and water.
