The early story of this area begins along a very different shoreline, where in the late 19th century, grand estates and mansions stretched from Lake Avenue to the water’s edge—offering uninterrupted lake views and establishing Edgewater as an enclave of wealth and retreat.Hear the story of Jacob B.
