Each spring, Case Western Reserve University undergraduate music majors compete in a recital-style performance for the opportunity to appear as a soloist with the Symphony Orchestra or Symphonic Winds in the following academic year. Coordinated by Dr. Kathleen Horvath, Director of Orchestras, this competition provides a platform for students to showcase their musicianship, gain valuable performance experience, and receive public recognition for their achievements.
