Richard from Greenpeace uses Fran Preston-Gannon’s delightful illustrated story of a Polar Bear’s journey in a small boat to explain for a family audience the effects of climate change, deforestation and poaching on the bear and the other animals he befriends on his voyage.Who can comeThe event is suitable for primary school age children and their parents. Please book a ticket for each child attending as spaces are limited. Please stay with your child at all times. Do let us know if your plans change and you can’t make it. If you've booked on Eventbrite it is easy to cancel, freeing up the space for someone else.Additional supportPlease let us know if your group has any additional support needs so that we can help you get the most out of the session.Borrowing booksYou will have an opportunity to borrow books, so do bring your library card. If you’d like to join the library, bring ID with your address on it.
