- **Event Description**: Help the Ornithology Center restore the reflection pond on Wednesday November 12th from 10a-1p. There is currently 10 years worth of organic material accumulated inside the concrete basin of the pond, leading to a decrease in habitat quality, educational programming, and overall beauty. 

The pond is drained and now we need people to help us shovel out the muck, leaves, and woody debris. Volunteers should plan to arrive in outdoor attire suited for the weather, wearing shoes that can get dirty & protect your feet from the wet & cold terrain.

Volunteers age 12 or older welcome to attend. Minors must be accompanied at all times by adult guardian.

When: 10am on Wednesday November 12th ⏰

Where: 6515 Delong Rd, Indianapolis, IN 46278☀️

Why: Restore the pond! ?

How: Shovels, wheelbarrows, and elbow grease! Supplies provided, bring your own elbow grease. ?

What: A great way to play in the muck & help your community! ??
