Roots Of French Dub : The Story of Improvisators Dub (2025)

“A la fin des années 1990, un groupe bordelais visionnaire bouleverse la scène musicale française : Improvisators Dub, pionniers du dub hexagonal.
Inspirés par la Jamaïque et par le dub Anglais (Jah Shaka, The Disciples, The Scientist, Mad Professor, Winston McAnnuf) et portés par une énergie expérimentale, ils ouvrent la voie à toute une génération d’artistes et de sound systems.
À travers des archives rares, des images de concerts intenses et les témoignages comme Jonah Dan, Winston McAnuff, Mark Iration, High Tone ou encore Culture Dub, Roots of French Dub raconte l’épopée d’un son, d’un mouvement et d’une révolution musicale toujours vivante.”
