We tried this last year with almost NO notice, and had a wonderful time. But everyone agreed it is a terrific idea to do it again with plenty of notice for everyone to make plans. SO here we go!
Many of us Clemson-ites still come "Home" for the holidays and some never left or have come back. So whichever category you might fall in, And I thought it would be wonderful, if while visiting our families , we could also carve out a few hours to get together with old high school friends ( Who are ALSO in town for the holidays) So, not "Christmas Eve" but the EVE of Christmas eve... on December 23 (This year, in 2025 that is a tuesday night) we'll be getting together at the Thomas Bar in the Shepherd Inn in Clemson. If you haven't been downtown in while- it's almost directly across from Tigertown Tavern. ( and I KNOW all of you know where THAT is! LOL)
The Inn has a nice selection of wines plus cocktails and beer. I'll probably bring some nibbles, like cheese, fruit and crackers- and if any of you would like to bring a snacky kind of thing- feel free. The inn can accommodate 70-80 people inside and they can also open the patio with the heat lamps outside. Which is actually very cool to sit and see the town while having a drink.
Please feel free to invite ANY Daniel grad. This is not limited to any specific graduating classes. And if you have friends who you ran with who were friends bring them along! And I invited those of you in my HS friends list on FB as well as peeps who hung out with us ( that I could remember) if I forgot ANYONE, PLEASE feel free to share and invite them on your end!
