Thank you for your interest in experiencing the forest!In light of recent announcements by the government to destroy Maju Forest and develop public housing, we are organizing a series of walks this August to bring you closer to connect with the slow magic and beauty that Maju Forest brings to Singapore.What to ExpectA ~1.5-2 hour walk along the abandoned Jurong Railway line and tunnel bringing us through the forestUneven, unmarked and muddy terrainAn experienced hiking guide, and 3-4 volunteers who will help facilitate and provide assistance if neededRoute Details?Meeting Point at Clementi ArcadeStart at Sunset Way EntranceExit via Bus Stop along Clementi Road opposite Brookvale drive (after the tunnel)(Optional) Walk back to Clementi Arcade for post-walk refreshments and conversations, kindly sponsored by Baker & CookWhat to BringGood hiking shoes (Mandatory - The trail is muddy so no sandals)Umbrella or Poncho (in case of light rain)Long sleeves and long pantsInsect repellentWater and snacksHat/Shades (Optional)Event ConfirmationSlots are limited.
