- **Event Description**: We will be participating in the Flag football tournament for the JAQUEZ WELCH foundation in Clearwater FL on March 28th 2020. We will leave Monticello AR on March 25th 2020 at approximately 6:00am & will return on March 29th. All members of THE DIAMOND ELITE ATHLETES INCORPORATED will be meeting before then to receive uniforms, traveling shirts, jerseys, & gym bags. Parents are strongly encouraged to attend this meeting to go over any missing paperwork that needs to be signed, & to get phone numbers & addresses to where the group will be staying.

*ALL STUDENT ATHLETES WILL NEED TO HAVE ALL PAPERWORK COMPLETED & FEES PAID AT THIS MEETING. NO EXCEPTIONS. NO CHILD WILL BE ALLOWED TO TRAVEL WITH THE DIAMOND ELITE ATHLETES IF THE PROPER PAPERWORK IS NOT FILLED OUT OR FEES NOT PAID. 

Jaquez Welch high school senior & star athlete had just scored a touchdown, ran another play but struggled to get back on his feet. He suffered from a brain condition known as AVM, & was rushed to the hospital from the field where he was then placed on life support. Jaquez Welch passed away September 2019. This trip is to bring awareness to AVM, & for us to come together in solidarity in the sport that we all, including Jaquez loved. #FootBall
