The city of Clearwater invites residents to Dollars to Donuts, a free, interactive community workshop that is part of our ongoing commitment to transparency, community engagement, and public education. Join us Saturday, Aug. 1, at 10 a.m. at the Morningside Recreation Center.

This is not your typical budget meeting. The purpose of this workshop is to engage residents in a discussion about the city's preliminary FY27 budget and gather community input on Clearwater's financial picture.

Este evento gratuito se llevará a cabo el sábado 1 de agosto a las 10:00 a. m. en el Centro Recreativo Morningside, ubicado en 2400 Harn Blvd. Se invita a los residentes a conocer el presupuesto preliminar de la ciudad para el año fiscal 2027, hacer preguntas y expresar sus opiniones sobre las prioridades de la comunidad.

A diferencia de una reunión presupuestaria tradicional, "Dollars to Donuts" está diseñado para fomentar una conversación abierta y ayudar a los residentes a comprender mejor cómo Clearwater invierte el dinero de los contribuyentes para brindar servicios esenciales. Los participantes recibirán una descripción general del presupuesto de la ciudad —incluyendo las fuentes de ingresos, los principales gastos y las necesidades de mejoras de capital— y aprenderán cómo los cambios en los ingresos podrían afectar los servicios municipales.
