Let’s Burn!

Join Lindsey from Blonde Dog 509 for a unique, creative branding workshop where you’ll design and burn artwork onto a Handbag or a billed or brimmed hat.

These workshops are perfect for anyone who wants to add a personal touch to their headwear. All skill levels are welcome—no art experience needed. You’ll be guided step-by-step in a fun, relaxed atmosphere as you learn the art of hat burning.

We’ll start with an introduction and tutorial that covers everything from tracing your design to safely using the burner. Want to add more flair? Enhance your item with paint pens for extra color and detail.

Choose from a variety of Blonde Dog 509 designs or freehand your own creation. Whether you’re making something special for yourself or a one-of-a-kind gift, you’ll leave with a custom hat featuring your own burned design.

When: Mother's Day: Sunday, May 10th at 11:00 AM

Where: Dru Bru - 1015 E 2nd St, Cle Elum, WA 98922

Who: This workshop is open to all ages (14+).

Ticket Info: Ticket Info: Your ticket ($50 + Cle Elum Sales tax rate) includes all the tools and materials you’ll need for the branding workshop. However, handbags, hats or hat bands are not included in the ticket price. You are welcome to bring your own hat, but for the best results, I recommend purchasing one of the high-quality hats I provide. As I cannot guarantee the quality of the burn on hats that are not sold by me. 

Handbags are $60, and includes your handbag + fringe tassel, a make-up bag with custom patch and fringe tassel zipper pull. The Handbag is a slouch/ hobo style measuring 13.8 x 9.4 x 4.3 inches, this large tote fits your phone, keys, makeup, wine and more—ideal for work, travel, or errands.

Brimmed Hats start at $42, billed hats start at $25 based on current market prices.

The Hat Bar will also be open, offering a wide selection of à la carte accessories—hat bands, feather conchos, hat pins, playing cards, vintage matchbooks, feathers, lace, fabric, and ribbon—available for purchase so you can further customize your hat.
