The first half of the hike will be relatively flat, with some narrow single track, followed by gentle rolling hills back to the trailhead. If there is significant rainfall in the days before the hike, expect very muddy conditions. Plenty of free parking and bathrooms at the trailhead. Be sure to bring plenty of water and a snack, and dress in layers. Sturdy shoes or hiking boots are recommended; hiking poles may be useful.
