SAVE THE DATE for our long-running WPBS flagship event READY SET FUN Children’s Literacy Festival – Saturday, March 14 in our NEW LOCATION: The Clayton Opera House, Clayton NY.
WPBS’s annual literacy fair, READY, SET, FUN! is a celebration of learning that has been held annually for over 20 years and includes many community partner exhibits, PBS Kids Characters, a gently-used book swap, and much more! As always, Admission is FREE and open to the public! This year's theme is LIBERTY AND LITERACY, celebrating the 250th anniversary of the American Revolution.
-Please note that due to funding cuts, we are suspending the annual Children's Writers Contest for the foreseeable future.
Vendor Registration is FREE and sign-ups for spaces will be sent out in the New Year. Local organizations, businesses, and authors with an educational demonstration or activity to share are encouraged to apply to be part of the event. Vendors WILL NOT have to have individual insurance to participate!
