- **Event Description**: ? Students 8-14 who are free on Mondays, are welcome to attend Music and Us: A study of musical styles and our music culture here in the U.S. We will dive into styles around the world, and take a look at the genres that shaped music as it is today in western culture. This class is laid back, includes a lot of reflection, and is a great chance for kids to get to know others through sharing music we all listen to. Classes include listening, reflecting, making beats and trying to recreate familiar songs, and even a little about songwriting styles. 

This course is free and open to the public. Please fill out the form to be included. If your student does not fall within the age range, please contact me. Depending on final enrollment numbers, we might be able to include them, especially if you have siblings who both want to attend.  Please contact me with questions.

Monday June 15th we will meet at 1pm at Mid County Library.
