Let's ring in the New Year right with a Jamily ride leaving from Clayton, GA and we will head to Copperhill, TN
Have you ever been to Copperhill, TN/McCaysville, GA?
This historic city was established in 1904 as a copper mining town but thrives today with a dynamic city center anchored by Riverwalk Shops and featuring fantastic restaurants, boutique shopping, and more!
Below are the details:
MEET TIME: 9:30am
MEET LOCATION: Rabun County Clerk of Court ~ (25 Courthouse
Square, Clayton) ~ Lower Level Parking Lot
LEAVE TIME: 10:00am
LUNCH: The Waterfront Bar & Restaurant (205 Ocoee St., Copperhill, TN)
RADIOS: Channel 7
Following lunch we will take time to browse the town area from 12:30pm~1:30pm.
We will ** leave at 1:30pm ** and head to the Murphy's Gas Station in Blue Ridge to gas up and then head out to ride Old Bucktown Road!
MISC:
1. When you arrive at the Courthouse, have a FULL TANK OF GAS
2. The ride is approx. 1.5 hrs to The Waterfront, we will NOT be stopping along the way
3. Bring snacks/drinks (especially if you are doing the Old Bucktown Rd ride after lunch)
