Friday, July 10 | 5–8pm — A Mill Creek Homecoming: Stories in Sound & Spirit
Kick off the closing weekend of Mill Creek: Black Metropolis with an evening of music, dance, and community. DJ Lamar Harris sets the vibe with the sounds of the neighborhood, while Mademoiselle Mystique performs a special tribute to Mill Creek's own Josephine Baker. Hear reflections from exhibit curator Gwen Moore and former residents, and explore the exhibit one last time. Free to attend.

Saturday, July 11 | Doors 6pm, Concert 7–9pm — A Night at Peacock Alley: Mill Creek's Musical Legacy
A live concert celebrating Mill Creek Valley — once known as the Harlem of St. Louis. The night features two performances: internationally renowned composer JD Parran leads an ensemble through original compositions inspired by Mill Creek's rich cultural life, followed by saxophonist Stanley Coleman's all-star quintet — with vocalist Kim Fuller Barnes and pianist Ptah Williams — paying tribute to the legendary LaClede Town era of 1964–1974. Food and drinks available for purchase. Explore the exhibit one final time before it closes.

Sunday, July 12 | 2–4pm — Mourning Mill Creek: A Play by A Call to Conscience
Close the weekend with a moving theatrical experience. Set in 1958, this original play by Kathleen Gamble, directed by Fannie Bell Lebby, honors the community displaced by Mill Creek's destruction — a story of loss, resilience, and legacy. A 30-minute talkback follows the performance. Tickets are $10/person at acalltoconscience.org. Doors open at 1:30pm; runtime is 1 hour and 15 minutes.
