5–7pm | Food and drinks available for purchase.
5:00–6:30pm | Visit resource and display tables, check out the Historian’s Corner, and enjoy an art–centered activity.
6:30–8:00pm | Head to the Lee Auditorium to hear the Bayocs’ dialogue, revealing how art bridges intimate and collective worlds, honors where it begins, and images new horizons for the future.
 
The Bayocs’ candid dialogue reveals the power of partnership—not as one voice alongside another, but as two distinct voices contributing to a larger story of creativity, purpose, and impact. The message is simple: where an artist begins is not a limitation, but a foundation—a source of identity, inspiration, and possibility. 

This evening celebrates how the bridge between St. Louis and East St. Louis serves as more than a physical connection; it is a metaphor for the journey of artists whose works reflect the communities they live in, while imagining their work reaching across cities, generations, and the world. 

Complementing the conversation, the Sunshine Cultural Arts Center will present a dynamic drumming and dance performance that celebrates the rhythms, traditions, and cultural heritage of the African diaspora.
