That's why CCJ and our friends at Buffalo Creek Watershed Association invite you to join us for our 🐟 FREE Kids Fishing Day 🐟 at Dutch Fork Lake in Claysville on May 24th from 11 AM - 1 PM. Enjoy a fun-filled, family-friendly event celebrating the beauty of SW Pennsylvania's green spaces!

We will be providing community members with bait 🪱, tackle, and a free fishing pole for the first 200 kids! 🎣 And the best part? When they are finished with a fun day of casting a line, everyone gets to keep their pole!

👦 Are you and your kids beginners? We'll have experienced staff and volunteers available to help teach you the basics.

🪪 Don't have a PA fishing license? May 24 is a PA Fish & Boat Commission Fish-for-Free Day, which means anyone (resident or non-resident) ​can legally fish on all Pennsylvania waterways. 

🎣 Have you attended a previous CCJ Kids Fishing Day and still have your child's fishing pole? Bring it along to use again! Have they outgrown it? Bring it along, anyway, and trade it for a larger size!
