Frozen Elk Challenge

First CBC group ride of the year! This will be a test of your will, stamina, and dedication to bad ideas. The plan is 40 miles to lunch at Dorsey’s Cafe in Gassaway, 40 miles back. Do it as a one-way trip, start from around the halfway point at the Duck trailhead, whatever makes the most sense for you. This revives an old tradition at CBC, albeit in a new setting. The first half of the ride is friendly, and the return trip is a race. Mid-ride support will be provided by the good people at Bigfoot Braxxie’s Bike Shop in Gassaway (and also an emergency bail out if needed). This ride is not dependent on weather, we ride snow or shine!
