Easiest access, park near John R. Rd, not the I-75 side. Enter through the doors just left of JCPenney. Doors Open at 5:00 with qualifying ending around 8:00. Non-IFPA event There will be a finals for an undetermined number of players starting around 8:30. Food will be provided, so please pre-register to ensure that we can prepare accordingly. The Tournament: MWS was not only an accomplished pinball player but a skilled bowler as well. To honor that, and the enjoyment he got from participating in non-traditional tournament formats, we will be doing Pin-Bowling. It’s much like a Pin-Golf tournament when based only on scoring. However, players WILL get the Strike and Spare bonus that carries over to the following ball(s). Achieve Goal Score on ball 1, get a Strike, ball 2 a Spare or Downed Pin Count. PLUNGE ball 3. You only get 2 shots to knock the pins down! Like Bowling, this is a 2-Ball game (however, Stewie was a big part of the Lansing League so PLAY your extra balls (you earned them) as though they were your ball rolled, a mulligan. Score Cards will be provided, with instructions. Each frame MUST be played with another person for score verification. Playing the Frames In Order is NOT required, just remember to score your knocked down pins for ball 1 and ball 2 for each Frame played. If you obtain the Goal score on ball 1 you get a strike, ball 2 a spare or if you fail to achieve the goal score on ball two, you get “1” point for every 10% of the goal score you achieved.…. . Score breakdown will be posted on each machine. Recording the pin count for EACH BALL is a MUST!!! We want this to be a social event so players are encouraged to bowl each frame with a different player. Those that play all ten frames with a different player each time will be entered into a drawing for a special prize! Let the TD know you’re qualified for the 10 for 10 challenge so your card doesn't get missed. 12 Games are required to run this format. 8 Games have been selected thus far, by your hosts. We still need another 4. The machines already chosen are ones that we’ve shared memorable times with in Stewie’s presence. Recommendations for the remaining spots are needed.
