- **Event Description**: It's that time of year again where we meet up for some off-road shenanigans! This will be the thirteenth year of New Years days gatherings. We started in off in Toutle up by the bowl. That became to popular and congested where some of us actually got hit by other vehicles. Nicolai Mountain OHV area has designated Jeep trails for moderate wheeling. One year it was extreme with snow and winching for hours. Another year ot was just muddy and wet. If you plan to attend please bring recovery gear, tools and extra parts if needed. Bring food and drinks. We may have a fire if the weather is cooperative. Please obey all state and local laws. Pack out what you pack in! We will meet at Safeway on Ocean Beach Hwy in Longview Washington at 9:00 a.m. Roll out time will be 9:30 a.m. as we head out across the Lewis and Clark bridge and west on hwy 30. At 10:15 a.m. we will stop at Westport Oregon before heading up to Nicolai. Dress in layers. One trail has a nasty spot but also a bypass. Many of the trails have bypasses. Trails will be tight in some areas, wet and muddy. Possibly some snow. Please tread lightly on the trails amd watch out for other motorists. I am looking forward to seeing everyone!
