Briar and Joe Seamons perform traditional and original acoustic music that ranges from blues and jazz to the folk music of their lifelong home, the Pacific Northwest. With harmony vocals, guitar, ukulele, and banjo, their duo carries a vintage style without feeling stuck in it.

Briar is a singer of vintage jazz, blues, and original music. She brings a powerful voice along with stories about the history and origins of the songs — shining a light on voices and stories that have often been overlooked. Raised in the small community of Chimacum, Washington, her performances move between elegance and playfulness, with a bit of down-home bravado.

Joe Seamons is a musician and educator based in the Pacific Northwest, born and raised not far from Clatskanie. He has spent years working with the songs and stories of the region — logging camps, fishing towns, and the people who shaped this place. His work continues through performance, teaching, and ongoing research into Northwest folk traditions.
