Bob Hill's Bio:
Bob Hill wrote more than 4,000 columns and hundreds of featured stories during his 33 years with the Louisville Courier-Journal and Times, along with 14 books.
Hill's writing has always been focused on interesting places and people in Indiana and Kentucky, along with journalism trips to Czechoslovakia, Ghana and Peru. Closer to home, Hill's writings have ranged from Butcher Hollow in Kentucky, to Elvis Presley's birthplace in Tupelo, Mississippi, and the U.S. Supreme Court in Washington, D.C. His many honors include The Ernie Pyle Lifetime Achievement Award for his writing. An avid gardener and nature lover, Hill will teach the writing classes in Origin Park in a perfect setting, with students gathering in the friendship circle near buttonbush woods and the Ohio River.
