Join us for a heart-centered gathering as we celebrate the life, spirit, and legacy of Sandy Steinberg - an extraordinary educator, mentor, and human who devoted more than 20 years to uplifting her students in the Abington Heights Learning Support Program.
Enjoy a joyful afternoon featuring:

🎟️ Our beloved Duck Pluck basket raffle (12:30pm Start)
🍪 Duck-themed treats generously provided by Maximum Zen
The SLS Memorial Scholarship was created after Sandy’s unexpected passing in 2019. She had a rare gift for helping students recognize their strengths, face challenges with courage, and believe deeply in their potential. Her classroom was always filled with laughter, encouragement, snacks and of course, ducks (her absolute favorite!).
Each year, this scholarship is awarded to an Abington Heights senior learning support student who reflects Sandy’s spirit: hardworking, kindhearted, determined, joyful, and dedicated to helping others.
💛 Thank you for being part of this meaningful tradition and helping us honor the incredible impact Sandy had on everyone lucky enough to know her. If a life is measured by the lives it touches, Sandy’s was truly extraordinary.
Cost: $25 - includes yoga class, 10 raffle tickets, and refreshments.
