Wairarapa Festival of Christmas: Sashiko & Stitch Workshop and Afternoon Tea

Join us for a cozy Sunday afternoon of hand stitching with afternoon tea. As part of the Greytown Festival of Christmas, this workshop is a collaboration between Hall Concept Store and Cuckoo Pizza.

Led by Lorraine from Hall, this intimate workshop offers a gentle introduction to the traditional Japanese hand-sewing art of Sashiko, known for its simple patterns and meditative stitching. While you stitch, enjoy a delightful afternoon tea with cake, tea, and wine in a warm and welcoming setting.

After the workshop, participants will enjoy an exclusive shopping experience at Hall Concept Store (132 Main Street, Greytown) from 4-5.30pm. The perfect opportunity to explore beautifully curated homewares, textiles and slow fashion along with a complimentary glass of bubbly.
