Dogs in Togs
Bring your dog along for a fun swim! Carterton Pools is opening its doors for Dogs in Togs on Thursday 19 March, giving dog owners a chance to let their pups splash, play, and enjoy the water.
You’re welcome to bring toys or flotation devices (at your own risk of bite marks). One person per dog, and all dogs must be registered with Council, wear a lead on arrival, and be sociable with people and other dogs.
Please also bring poo bags to help keep the area tidy.
This event will be after the pool closes following the summer season. The pool will not be used for public following this event and will be “wintered”.
Two sessions will be run – one for small dogs up to 10kg and one for larger dogs over 10kg.
Small dogs (up to 10kg): 4:00 - 5:00pm
Large dogs (over 10kg): 5:30 - 6:30pm
Spectators are welcome too! But dog spaces are limited and registrations close Wednesday 18 March at 9am.
