A speaker in our ‘Courageous Speaker’ series.

Mark Blackham and his wife, Sola Freeman, have been staunch advocates for taking natural burials from ‘fringe’ thinking to very much a mainstream choice – in places where they’re offered. Mark and Sola’s journey of Courageous Leadership started 25 years ago, when their daughter who was born prematurely, passed away and there were no options for a natural burial for her.

Mark will speak about their learning and leadership journey and explain some of the choices now available to people in Aotearoa New Zealand, because of their work. 

This series is designed to inspire people to learn about leadership and ways to lead.
