- **Event Description**: We are so excited to bring our community together for the fourth annual, A Very Carterton Christmas, carols in Carrington park! Our wet weather location is the Wairarapa Events Centre, so A Very Carterton Christmas will be happening whatever the weather.

This years event kicks off Sunday Dec 14th from 3.00pm and will make for a fantastic afternoon of festive fun!

The amazing Nick Tansley is joining us again to lead community carols! We have South End Kindy, Idea Services and In-motion Dance school jumping up on stage to join Nick and the band for a boogie and a sing.

We have the amazing Nick Tansley joining us again to lead community carols with a wide range of local groups joining him on stage; The Carterton Girl Guides, Idea Services, The Masterton Brass Band, South End Kindy and In-motion Dance school.

We have free kids face painting and nail polish which we are super excited about - having this event free and accessible to all our community is so important to us, especially at what can be a busy and expensive time of the year!

Bring a picnic dinner down or support our local food vendors and purchase some kai at the park. There will also ice cream, bake sales, BBQs, food trucks and. . . SANTA! For a gold coin donation to the Carterton Indoor Pool project you can DIY a pic with Santa on your phone!

It is a free event but we will have a Giving Tree set up for those who can to bring some non-perishable food along to go to the Carterton Foodbank.
