- **Event Description**: Pack your binoculars, water bottles, and field guides! Nature Newfoundland and Labrador is teaming up with Random Passage for a day in nature! Join us as we explore coastal marshes, identify wetland plants, learn about the historical uses of the landscape, and pause along the way to watch and listen for birds.

Where to find us: Nestled away in New Bonaventure on Newfoundland’s historic Bonavista Peninsula, the Random Passage site is approximately three hours outside of St. John’s (the province’s capital) and roughly two and a half hours from Gander.

The easiest route is to exit the Trans-Canada Highway at Route 230 and enjoy a scenic 62 km drive. Just before Port Rexton, turn off onto Route 239 (locally known as Main Road) and continue the final 17 km through Goose Cove, Dunfield, and Trouty until you reach the end of the road – you can’t miss it!
