Info: Let’s set the canners up for success, learn about venting and canning times, food safety, botulism, and more. Experience the sights and sounds for yourself so you can confidently try this at home to fill your pantry with protein like chicken, pork, lamb, venison, and beef.
Info: See how easy it is to quickly prepare a meal using home-canned meats. We’ll sample two completely different recipes.
Info: Melissa Falcone will explain her baby step method for creating a resilient and prepared kitchen with a food supply. You'll also get inspired by seeing her extended pantry, which includes a variety of home pressure-canned meats. She’ll also answer all your pressure canning questions and send you home with some helpful handouts. You’ll leave with a custom-to-you action plan to fill your pantry (whether it’s one little cupboard shelf or a full-on year’s supply) plus a month of free access to thereadypantry.com. We’ll get to observe the end of the canning process (cool down).
Info: Thank you for coming. During this time we'll wrap up by removing the jars of lid from the pressure canner and talk about how to check if the seal is good!
