The Claremont Opera House — along with performing arts venues across New Hampshire and the nation — is facing an urgent challenge.

Federal and state support for the arts is in jeopardy. The National Endowment for the Arts (NEA) and the NH State Council on the Arts are both experiencing major funding cuts, putting essential grants and programs at risk.

These organizations have been lifelines for small-town venues like ours — helping us offer performances, educational programs, and community events.
