The new farm store, located inside the big red barn at the end of our lane, will be open at 1:30pm on this day for those who wish to check in early.The tour fee covers the cost for participants to feed treats to some Mulefoot hogs during the homeschool tour experience. You’ll see why pigs are Fred’s favorite farm animals after this!Families are welcome to enjoy fishing at the pond before or after the tour for no additional fee. Picnicing at the pond is welcomed, but remember to clean up after yourselves and take out any trash.Event is rain or shine, but if weather is unsafe or especially lousy then this tour will be canceled.The new TRADING POST AT TRUE CUT RANCH is open to the public 2-5pm on Fridays and Saturdays.FAQWhat to wear? Dress comfortably and appropriately for the weather. Leave your new, fancy, bright white tennis shoes at home. What animals will we see? Depending in where the animals are (most move every single day to fresh grass) you might see pigs, cows, sheep, chickens, guinea fowl, and ducks. We plan to have ducklings in the brooders in the red barn that you can meet!Is the tour stroller-friendly? Not really. We’ll be strolling on uneven terrain. A baby carrier is a better choice. We’ll walk slowly to accommodate all on the tour. Is there a bathroom? The only restroom is inside the red barn. Is there a fee for parking? No. We have plenty of free parking available in front of the big red barn. (If you’ve been to a tour before, this January event will be slightly different!
